Join us for an exclusive, two-day training session specifically tailored for law enforcement professionals. This course will provide insights into the basic principles of cellular networks, record generation and interpretation, and cell site location information mapping that is crucial in solving criminal investigations. Imagine securing proof that places your suspect at the crime scene. Led by Detective Anthony Vega, a court-recognized expert in historical cell site analysis and the real-time geolocation of mobile devices. This training is a must for all tech-savvy law enforcement investigative personnel.
The training will cover several areas such as:
- Understanding basic principles of a cellular network and how a cellular device connects to a tower
- Interpreting and analyzing call detail records from the major cellular operators
- Utilizing mapping software to accurately depict the location of a cellular device
- Understanding the capabilities and limitations of cellular record analysis
- Interpreting and analyzing tower dump and area search records
- Interpreting and analyzing timing advance records
- Understanding how vehicles connect to the cellular network and generate records
- Utilizing mobile device third party application data in investigations
- Being familiar with investigative resources available to law enforcement
- Case studies demonstrating data acquisition and its use in arrests or prosecutions
